About us

Boutique Hotel Hugo is located between Piazza della Libertà and Piazza San Marco, near the Accademy Gallery, where Michelangelo's David (the symbol of Florence known all over the world) is displayed. The property reflects the story of a large family that has very old roots. It was bought by my grandfather Ugo about 20 years earlier and it was immediately turned into a hotel business. It was completely renovated after 18 years by a member of the family itself.

Thanks to its impressive refurbishment and the refined and attention to details, the Boutique Hotel Hugo was born. The hotel consists of 10 rooms: 5 doubles, 2 singles, and 3 triples. The rooms are spacious and well-kept and attention has been given even to the smallest details. They all come with a spacious and finely decorated bathroom, with walk-in shower and chromed bathroom furnishings. The rooms are furnished with large beds with hypoallergenic mattresses and fine linen, 49 '' LCD TVs, a small table or sécretaire, armchair or chairs and large windows.

The hotel is Located on the 2nd floor of a traditional beautiful old building in typical Florence style. It has large stairs that allow easy access and a large entrance hall as well. The entrance hosts the small but cozy reception. On the left, there’s an elegant corridor overlooking all rooms.

The breakfast room is divided into two spaces: one dedicated to the preparation of the food, the buffet and the presentation of the breakfast itself. The other space is a room furnished with tables and chairs that recall the feeling of a bistro the Parisian banlieue...

Elegant and at the same time intimate, Boutique Hotel Hugo leaves space for imagination to enjoy an original and memorable stay.
